Il y avait une tour, au milieu d’une ville. Depuis qu’elle avait été érigée, elle veillait inlassablement sur ses alentours. La tour n’était pas particulièrement haute ou belle, elle avait été pensée pour être pratique, un alliage de béton et de verre, une fourmilière où se pressaient tous les jours des centaines et des centaines d’êtres humains, un alliage de gris et de noir.
